Business Analyst Position
Implementation Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Business Analyst to join this exciting and growing services company. Functions would include work on various areas of the order management process as it relates to the systems that support front-, middle- and back-office functions in the complete trade cycle. There will be a focus on data integrity and project management process and could include equity, fixed income or derivatives processing. This person will work with existing and prospective Clients and both internal and external developers to create solutions to everyday and long-term problems.

Experience and Education

• Two to three years of business/system analysis and software development experience with an understanding of custom and/or package software development life cycle is desired.
• An ability to participate in application design, development, documentation and end-user training in a team format while maintaining the ability to successfully work independently.
• Experience with Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance and/or Accounting Systems as it relates to the buy-side.
• An understanding of relational databases and a working knowledge of MS SQL Server.
• Ability to clearly define, communicate and validate complex concepts with regard to trading, post-trade processing, and reporting
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including specification writing skills.

Programmer Analyst Position

This person will work with existing and prospective Clients and both internal and external business analysts/project managers to create solutions to everyday and long-term problems.

Experience and Education
• Two to three years of software development experience with an understanding of the investment management industry is desired.
• An ability to participate in application design, development, documentation and end-user training in a team setting while also being comfortable executing independently.
• Experience with Order Management, Portfolio Management/Accounting or Compliance Systems as it relates to the Investment Management industry.
• An understanding of database design and a working knowledge of C, C++, C#, Java, ASP.NET and other forward-thinking technologies.
• Ability to clearly define, communicate and validate complex concepts.
